You can go at your own pace and tick off the tasks as you go.
We aim to teach some photography basics whilst keeping it in-line with what 8-14 year olds are really wanting to use their phones for.
This is a simple course that aims to develop photographic techniques that utilise lighting, composition and perspective. So while we do expect most participants will use their new skills to photograph themselves or their pets for example, the same basic principles apply to most subjects.
All you need is a phone camera.Module One: Lighting
Learn to see and work with the available light inside and outside your home.
Module Two: Composition & Perspective Understand the basics of composition and perspective and how they can make a difference to your photos.
Module Three: Styling & Backdrops
Working with three different outfits and backgrounds you will learn how different combinations effect the look of the photos.
Module Four: Creating Your Aesthetic
Odette takes the reins and shows how she uses her phone photos by editing them on a simple (free) phone App and puts them together to create her ‘online Aesthetic’.
